The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a lay-led Catholic charitable organization in the Diocese of Youngstown that is easing the burden of those who have less right here in the Mahoning Valley. Volunteers and staff alike do the work of this ministry every day at the Dining Hall, Food Pantry, at Outreach Events, and at the Thrift Store & Donation Center. The focus area is the Greater Youngstown area including the surrounding communities. Through community involvement, charitable contributions, and man volunteer hours, the goal is to break the cycle of poverty.
The St. Charles St. Vincent de Paul Committee meets on the second Thursday of every month, September through May at 6:00 p.m. in the St. Mark Room. Contact St. Charles Church chairperson Dean Wilson at 330-402-0782 if you would like to join this vital ministry.
