Operation Rice Bowl is a program of sacrificial giving to feed the poor on local and global levels. Rice bowls and program booklets will be available in the Gathering Space during Lent for your convenience. Families or individuals fast or eat simple meals and place the savings in a symbolic “Rice Bowl”. The money collected prior to the Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday, is given to the Diocese for distribution to agencies which feed the poor.
