Music Notation Lessons

The Director of Music offers lessons to anyone wishing to learn the art of music notation. Lessons, either private or with a group are offered free of charge and open to all ages.

Adult Choir (Borromeo Chorale)

The Borromeo Chorale consists of those 18-years or older who lead the parish in song at liturgies, particularly at the 10:45 a.m. Sunday Mass and other liturgical functions.

Borromeo Contemporary Music Ensemble

Borromeo Contemporary Music Ensemble is open to parishioners of high school age or older and is comprised of various voice groups and instrumentalists.  They assist at liturgies, particularly at the 9:00 a.m. Mass and various requested functions.

Cantors

Cantors are trained voices that lead the congregation at Masses.  Voice lessons are a requirement of this ministry.  Lessons are scheduled with a vocal instructor on an individual and/or group basis.

Resurrection Choir

The Resurrection Choir consists of volunteers from the parish community who lend their voices at funeral Masses to enhance the richness of the services.  Participants must be available during the day.

St. Charles Bell Choir

 

The St. Charles Bell Choir performs on a four-octave set of bells that enhance the liturgical ceremonies and Masses throughout the year.

School Youth Choir

The Youth Choir is composed of children in 3rd-8th grades from St. Charles School.  They sing at various school liturgies throughout the year.

Youth Choir Practice:    2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Church Thursdays during the school calendar year
