Martha's Cupboard

Dear Parishioners, Thank you so much for your never ending support
of Martha's Cupboard.  At this time, we are providing boxes of food to approximately 90 families on a regular monthly basis.  This is up about 30 boxes from a year ago.

We are greatly in need of any non-perishable food that you can donate.  We are out of almost everything.  Thank you again for your help and support.  God Bless you!

"Prayer begins by listening.  God speaks in the silence of your hearts
and we speak from the fullness of our hearts.  I listen, God speaks.  I speak, God  listens.
This listening, speaking is prayer"           Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Come experience the silence.

Help your children to find those moments of silence.  Take them to adoration and let them experience the silence.

Adorers are needed for the afternoon hours.

If you are interested,
please call Mary Quinlan @ 330-758-8242

A Single Serving of Service

This is a new concept for the many ministries at St. Charles Borromeo Church.  There are no meetings to attend, nor does it take a large amount of time.

It consists of a One Time commitment of service for a particular ministry that would greatly benefit from your One Time involvement.

These opportunities  are a way of "Doing Thanks"for the many blessings God graces us with everyday

 Prayer Shawls

Can you touch a prayer? Can you pull it close and feel its comfort? You can if it comes as a gift in the form of a Prayer Shawl.

Prayer Shawls are simple gifts of grace from God that are prayerfully and lovingly stitched by volunteers of St. Charles Graceful Hands and prayer over as a reminder that God's promise is always with us.

Shawls can be useful for:  those undergoing medical procedures;  as a comfort after a loss or in times of stress;  during bereavement;  or for prayer or meditation.  Prayer Shawls are available to anyone free of charge.  Please call the parish office @ 330-758-2325 to reserve one or stop in to pick one up.

Evangelization happens when the parish community dedicates itself under the Gospel to worship and to witness, to teach and to learn, to serve and to liberate, to welcome others and to extend itself for the sake of the reign of God.
