A Single Serving of Service

This is a new concept for the many ministries at St. Charles Borromeo Church.  There are no meetings to attend, nor does it take a large amount of time.

It consists of a One Time commitment of service for a particular ministry that would greatly benefit from your One Time involvement.

These opportunities  are a way of "Doing Thanks" for the many blessings God graces us with everyday

Prayer Shawls

Can you touch a prayer?
Can you pull it close and feel its confort?
You can if it comes as a gift in the form of a Prayer Shawl.

Prayer Shawls are simple gifts of grace from God that are prayerfully and lovingly stitched by volunteers of St. Charles Graceful Knittters and prayed over as a reminder that God's promise is always with us.

Shawls can be useful for:  undergoing medical procedures;  as a comfort after a loss or in times of stress;  during bereavement;  for prayer or meditation.

Prayer Shawls are available to anyone free of charge.  Please call the reserve one (330-758-2325) or stop in the parish office to pick one up.
