Communal Advent Penance Service
St. Charles Borromeo Church
Sunday, December 8, 2013 ~ 3:00 PM
Five parishes ... St. Michael, Canfield; Christ Our Savior, Struthers; Holy Family, Poland; Saint Paul the Apostle, New Middletown; as well as our own parish, will gather in this Advent season to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the communal form.
There will be approximately eight priests present to celebrate God's love and God's forgiveness and to help prepare us for our Advent/Christmas time.
In the Advent season, this Communal Penance Service is the only one that we will hold in these five parishes so we invite you to come and celebrate
the Lord's gift of peace and reconciliation

A Single Serving of Service
This is a new concept for the many ministries at St. Charles Borromeo Church. There are no meetings to attend, nor does it take a large amount of time.
It consists of a One Time commitment of service for a particular ministry that would greatly benefit from your One Time involvement.
These opportunities are a way of "Doing Thanks" for the many blessings God graces us with everyday
Pilgrimage to Sister Parish
in El Salvador
The next pilgrimage to our sister parish in El Salvador, Immaculada Concepcion, will take place from January 27 through February 3, 2014. Please call Mary at 330-501-3944 if you are interested in going on the trip or for more information.
Evangelization happens when the parish community dedicates itself under the Gospel to worship and to witness, to teach and to learn, to serve and to liberate, to welcome others and to extend itself for the sake of the reign of God.
